Happy feast of St. Nicholas! We put out our shoes, well sandals, as tradition goes, in anticipation of St. Nick’s visit! St. Nicolas was a Bishop of Myra in 352.   There are many accounts and legends about St. Nicholas’ charity towards the poor.

“…He might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in his kindness to us…”  (Eph. 2:7) [emphasis added]

Why would you want to read about the lives of women religious in a small town in Ohio? Aren’t veils and sandals, rosaries and kneelers things of the past?

No, Pope Francis tells us. We must “wake up the world!”
